Appalachian BackCountry
Expeditions will customize its float fishingadventures to suit any taste or itinerary. Though we provide three basic float fishing packages, don't hesitate to ask about building a trip to include West Virginia fall foliage tours, hunting expeditions, birdwatching tours, or any mode of recreation you'd be interested in adding. There's plenty to do in the national park-land that surrounds us.
All float fishing trips include tackle, life jackets, and shuttle service to and from fishing areas and our base camp. Cabin accommodations may also be arranged. Float fishing trips can transport two passengers as well as the guide.
Half Day Float Fishing Trip
Refreshments are provided during a four-hour trip on the
New River or another nearby stream of your choice.
$150 per boat
Full Day Float Fishing Trip
Refreshments and a catered lunch are provided on our
10-hour float trips.
$295 per boat
Overnight Float Fishing Trip
Includes two full days of fishing with riverfront camping
and catered meals
$750 per boat
Cast & Blast Float Fishing Trips
Our combined fishing and hunting packages allow your party
to hunt from your craft while fishing. Cast & Blast
packages are available in season at the same cost as our
regular float trips (see above).
